COURSE MATERIALS


Printed course materials can be purchased at our 680 Sherbrooke location or online. Online orders can be picked-up at one of our stores or shipped worldwide.
All digital materials (eBooks) must be purchased online. The content will then be available for download or access via MyCourses.
Please note: There are no course materials available for purchase at our Macdonald Campus location. However, you can order them online and choose “Pickup at Macdonald Campus” as the shipping option at checkout.

To find your course materials, please visit our Course Materials page. Select the current Academic Term and search by indicating your Student ID or course number. You can enter multiple values by separating them with a comma (e.g. 260123456, BIOL 111 1, BIOL 200 1).

Online orders can be picked up at one of our stores or shipped worldwide. You will receive an email letting you know once it has been shipped to you (along with a tracking number) or once it’s ready for pick up at the store you selected.

Yes, we offer eBooks through our online store. All digital course materials are identified as eBooks in the Web listing and are available for immediate download or access via MyCourses following Checkout.
To verify what course materials are available for each course, search by entering your McGill I.D. or your course number on our Course Materials page.

If the course materials you are looking for are not listed on our website, it may not have been ordered through LE JAMES. Please check your course syllabus or check with your professor.

The majority of course readings are now being offered by the McGill Library. However, LE JAMES will be offering coursepacks for certain courses. Please visit our Course Materials page and enter your course code. If a coursepack is available for that course, it will appear in the results. If not, please consult with the McGill Library.

There are a select number of Mac-specific course packs available at the Macdonald Campus location. All other course materials are available at the downtown store or online. When placing an online order, you can choose “Pickup at Macdonald Campus” as the shipping option at checkout or have them shipped to your location.



SHOPPING ONLINE


You don’t need to be a McGill student to buy from our website. However, some digital course materials might require an access code provided during the course to access them. If you’re interested in this type of product, please don’t hesitate to send us a message so that we can check for you.

A “size chart” button can be found next to the product images for most of our clothing items.

Online orders can be picked up at one of our stores (free of charge) or shipped worldwide. You will receive an email letting you know once it has been shipped to you (along with a tracking number) or once it’s ready for pick up at the store you selected.

Pick-up orders are usually ready between 1-3 business days. However, the fulfillment time might be longer during busy periods (e.g. Back-to-School season in September and January, Black Friday, Convocation, etc). Please wait for an email notification that your order is ready to be picked up. Don't forget to check your Junk Mail.

Yes. To do so, please send us a message including your order number and the full name of the person that will pick-up your order.

It is possible to change the delivery method of your order from “pick-up” to “shipping”. Payment of the shipping fees will be required to proceed with this request ($10 for addresses in Canada and $20 for addresses in the U.S.). If you are interested in this option, please contact us.

It usually takes 1-3 business days to have your order ready to ship on our end. For transit times, it usually takes 2-5 business days for delivery in Quebec or Ontario and 2-10 business days for the rest of Canada.

Please note that there might be delays during busy periods (e.g. Back-to-School season in September and January, Black Friday, Convocation) or delivery delays on the carrier’s end. However, you will receive a tracking number so that you can follow your package as soon as it has been shipped to you - we ship via UPS.

Please allow up to 1 business day for the information to be available on the UPS website. You will be able to see the updates after the package has been picked up from our warehouse.

Yes, we can ship your order to most countries! You will be given the shipping options available to you during checkout. Please note that any taxes and/or duties are your responsibility.

To check the status of your order, please log in to your lejames.ca account. You will be able to view all your orders under “Order History” as well as their status.

Yes. When placing your order, you can select “Pickup at Macdonald Campus” as the shipping option. You will be able to pick up your order at our Mac Campus location after you receive our “Ready for Pickup” email letting you know that your order is now available at our store.

McGILL DIPLOMA FRAMES


You can view our full selection of McGill diploma frames here.

We do offer McGill diploma frames at our 680 Sherbrooke location. However, some styles might not be available if they are out of stock or if they are exclusively offered online. If you would like us to check if a particular frame is available prior to you coming to our store, please send us a message with all the details and we will be happy to check for you.

Please be sure to check the product page for the item that you wish to purchase. If a frame is available for pick-up, it will be listed in the item description. Otherwise, it is currently a “ship-only” frame as it may be out of stock at our store.

Diploma frames ship directly from our supplier. It takes 4-5 weeks for your frame to be prepared and shipped to you. If it has been longer than that since you placed your order, please contact us. We will contact our supplier to request an update for you.

Most of our frames are made to fit an 11 by 17-inch horizontal diploma. We also offer some frames for vertical diplomas (11” x 17”). Please be sure to check the product description for more details on the size of that item.

Our standard horizontal frames are made to fit an 11 by 17-inch horizontal diploma. If your diploma is a different size, then you would need to order a custom diploma frame. Please contact us with your diploma size and the frame style you are interested in customizing. We would be happy to provide you with a quote.
